Two restaurants in one building for the Dorian team in Notting Hill
Restaurant Versus · 5 September 2026 · Notting Hill
Nakimushi puts a ramen counter on the ground floor and a twenty-five seat restaurant above it, at 7 Kensington Mall.
Nakimushi opened at 7 Kensington Mall in Notting Hill on 7 September.
It comes from the team behind Dorian, the Notting Hill restaurant, with Robin Kosuge and Yuji Shimokawa Kelly named as the people running it.
The format is two operations under one roof rather than one restaurant with two menus. The ground floor is a ramen bar. Upstairs is a separate twenty-five seat dining room described as the more refined half.
Splitting a building this way lets a site serve a walk-in lunch trade and a booked evening trade without one compromising the other — a pattern that has become more common in London as rents have made single-use sites harder to justify.
